Trying out different characters, or avatars (virtual identities) to experience the different personalities. Performing fantasies allows children to better understand who they are and how they connect to others around them (even in a virtual world). It’s also an invitation to youth to re-imagine themselves, and it allows them to examine a problem from other perspectives.

Tips for discussion
“Avatars are a danger to youth because certain role models will be positioned even stronger.”

“Youth will live in a ‘virtual-world’ and won’t know how to act in ‘real life’ anymore.
They identify themselves too much with their made-up identity.”

Hint: Do you want to present yourselve in an anonymous way? Use some attributes like sunglasses or hats!! We’ve brought some stuff!
